Trustee Officer Election Meeting

April 26, 2024 Ellicottville Town Center

Members Attending: Sue Blesy, Diane Smith, Laurie Barrera, Blair Hamilton, Mike Braun, Stephen Ward, MJ Brown, Nan Miller, Pat Kerl, and Ed Chapman.

  1. On April 26th after our annual Arbor Day meeting our first meeting was held to elect new officers to replace outgoing President Nan Miller and Treasurer Pat Kerl.
  2. On Monday May 6th at 11:00 we will meet with new trustees. We will have tasks available to divide and be responsible for. May 13th will be our first regular Board Meeting.
  3. A motion was made by Diane and seconded by Ed Chapman to allow three trustees to sign checks for expenses for the arboretum. They will be Laurie Barrera, Blair Hamilton and Steven Ward. The motion was carried unanimously.
  4. Our CD held at CCB has matured and needs to be renewed. Laurie has volunteered to look into best current rate to reinvest.
  5. Officers were elected as followed:

President  —  Stephen Ward

Vice President   —   Sue Blesy  (term ending in 2025)

Treasurer  —   Laurie Barrera

Secretary  —   Diane Smith (term ending in 2025)

It was voted unanimously to elect officers.

  1. A motion was made to adjourn meeting by Sue and seconded by Laurie.
