Come join us as we 'polish the jewel in the crown of Ellicottville' on Monday, May 4, 2015, 9:00 to noon. We'll be picking up branches and raking leaves to get the arboretum ready for springtime visitors. We will provide the tools and refreshments, just bring yourself and a pair of gloves. "Christmas in July" Cheri Reed, Master Gardener, will demonstrate making Christmas decorations with natural materials.
"Children's Night" Susan Avery, Enchanted Mountain Adventure, will teach children how to build simple shelters for pollinators.
"Proven Winners" Shanna Clark, from Miller's Greenhouse in Olean NY, worked in Michigan with 4 Star Greenhouses testing the Proven Winners plants before they come to market. She will share with us her expertise working with annuals.
