Come and hear Dolf Bonenberger share his adventures on a Safari in Africa.
The Nannen Arboretum Society is pleased to present a program about Africa for the young and old alike. On Wednesday March 20 2019 at 6pm you will have the wonderful opportunity to go on a pictorial African Safari with Dolf Bonenberger. Attendees will ride along in a virtual safari truck to experience an 18-day photo journey. It will follow migrating herds of zebra, cape buffalo, wildebeest, antelope, and other animals. You will watch these animals as they trek 700 miles from a dry area to
their much needed water sources.
The people and countryside of Tanzania will also be explored. You will learn about the local Maasai Warrior Tribe. It is the largest ethnic group in Tanzania.
Dolf Bonenberger is a lifelong nature and snowmobile enthusiast, gentleman farmer, and hunter. His professional career included 14 years as the Planning Director of Cattaraugus County and 23 years working for the West Valley Demonstration Project.
